After Louise ShengLu Wang graduated from the Taiwan National Arts Academy, she established her own interior design studio and taught arts for many years. Due to her frequent travel between the Eastern and Western cultures, she has utilized her time in studying the arts for furniture decoration and ceramics. Ceramics not only inspired her creativity it also allows her to experience the joy of failure and innovation from trying to continuously create different artwork by shapes, glaze and clays. Her artwork, therefore, presents a different style for both decoration and utility usage. These projects are mostly on exhibition in Taiwan Kao-Hsiung Art Center from 2/15/00 to 2/21/00. |

Ten years ago Louise discovered the colorfulness and variety of decoration art while traveling back and forth to US. Knowing the weakness of handcraft works in Taiwan, Louise started to bring in the decorating arts technique and trained many teachers in order to strengthen handcrafts art in Taiwan. In these collections she enjoys creating new artwork and gaining self-growth through innovations. |
